Contracted by Brevard County Facilities, the Ivey’s Construction team was selected to be the construction manager of the new Wickham Park Disabilities Building based on our qualifications and experience building accessible facilities. The project consisted of the construction of a new 3,372 square foot community center designed to provide a social and recreational venue for people with physical, intellectual, mental, and emotional disabilities. The new, single-story structure was built with a reinforced concrete masonry wall system set on concrete footings with a slab on grade. The scope of work included site work and development, utilities, improvements such as site fi ll, paved drives, parking area, sidewalks, driveway canopies, roof installation, ramps, curbs, exterior signage, plumbing system, as well as electrical service and utilities to the structure.
